Terre di Varano Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced on the Terre di Varano farm, situated on the hilltops of Pescara, in close proximity to the Adriatic sea. The location offers the olive trees a natural mist of sea salt, sun as well as spring water from the surrounding Majella and Gran Sasso mountains. Olives are grown, picked, milled and packaged on site removing all unnecessary handling. This is referred to Closed Cycle Farming.
The result is a very distinct texture and flavour to the oil as well as a very low acidity level.
